March 20, 2020
As the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic continues to spread, here at Morrison Freight the health and wellbeing of our staff and customers is our main priority. We are committed to following the advice of Public Health England and the Government and we will continue to do so over the coming weeks.
We would like to reassure everyone that it is very much business as usual, and we have procedures in place to allow staff to work from home if necessary.
From Monday 23 March 2020 we will be implementing a shift pattern in the office. Each department has been split into two groups and they will alternate working in the office and working from home. This is to ensure we are following the Government’s advice and practicing social distancing for the safety of all our employees.
We will continue to follow NHS advice regarding self-isolation and we are asking all employees who are presenting any symptoms to stay at home. Similarly, if they have been in contact with anyone who is showing symptoms or if they have returned from one of the ‘at risk’ countries over the last 14 days, they will also be asked to work from home.
We have heightened our cleaning procedures in the office and all employees are asked to continue washing their hands regularly and using hand sanitizers that we have located around the office.
We will continue to update you if anything changes.
Kind regards,
Lee Steward and Darren Ryan
Directors
