GDPR is almost upon us and due to come into effect on 25th May 2018. The General Data Protection Regulation is a new, European-wide law that replaces the Data Protection Act 1998 in the UK. It places greater obligations on how organisations handle personal data.
But what does it actually mean for business’s like ours?
Whilst there is a lot of confusion still amongst what classifies as personal data in our industry for example; in B2B even email address’s such as firstname.lastname@example.org could fall within the scope of GDPR.
We are giving all business partners the option for us to remove personal data we may hold for them by contacting us at email@example.com
